Coming off of a loss

Basically you don’t want to sit and dwell and relive it everyday. You need to have a funeral in your mind and forget about the loss and be done with it. The last thing we want to do is be thinking about the Carolina Panthers game, especially when we’re playing a team this week that is as good as if not better than them. You’re always at disadvantage when you’re not at home. I think everyone plays better at home, because you have a comfortable feeling there. And at least you can hear the snap.
We went out there and won against the Steelers in the championship game, so them breaking our winning streak last year is not on my mind. The whole thing is done with. The theme of the NFL is that each year is completely different. You can’t compare and contrast because teams and situations are different. No matter how bad you mess up, you want to move on the next season.
I had my birthday yesterday and I’m celebrating tonight by getting out of the house. The babysitter is coming over and whether I go out to eat or catch a movie, it’s better than hearing the kids scream in my ear all night.
