The Norfolk coaching staff, which includes former Major League stars Ken Oberkfell and Howard Johnson, helped Daubach focus on getting back to the big leagues.
"I didn't doubt my ability, I only doubted my opportunity. When you're in Triple-A, you can look at it as a dead end. I wasn't going to play down there forever. I've made enough money. I would have played this year out. They assured me I would get an opportunity. Those guys kept me positive. I knew I could still play in the big leagues.
