The New York Times -Schilling Injures Ankle, and Piniella's Feelings:
"Piniella later said he had Tampa Bay's traveling secretary call Boston's traveling secretary to try to contact Schilling. Piniella said last night, before the Devil Rays played at Toronto, that he had yet to hear from Schilling.
'I was told Curt was going to call,' he said. 'I'll be happy to pick up the phone if that's what it takes.'"
